Amy Wenger, MHSA, is Vice President of Finance and Administration for Alice L. Walton School of Medicine. In this role, she serves as an advisor to the Dean’s Office and Board of Directors and oversees financial and administrative operations for the School.

Prior to joining the School, Wenger served as the Vice Chancellor for the Northwest Regional Campus at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She previously held several leadership positions at UAMS including Vice Chancellor for Regional Programs and the Chancellor’s Chief of Staff. With a health care career which spans over two decades in clinical administration, Wenger also managed specialty departments such as Women and Infant Health, Surgical Specialties, Nursing, and Psychiatry.

Wenger earned her BS in education in community health at the University of Arkansas and her master’s in health services administration at University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She completed her postgraduate fellowship at Vanderbilt Medical Group in Nashville, Tennessee.

In 2022, she was recognized as an honoree in Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s annual Women in Business awards. She received an Outstanding Alumni Award (2022) from the Master of Health Administration program at UAMS.
