Applying for Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid offers students essential information to make informed decisions about funding their medical education. This includes understanding costs, available resources, and other funding opportunities to help them achieve their academic goals. We strive to provide exceptional support to students financing their education through financial aid counseling, financial literacy programs, and financial planning. We are committed to delivering equitable financial assistance to all students while adhering to federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies. We are here to guide our students as they:

  • Navigate the financial aid process

  • Prepare financially for each unique stage of their medical education

  • Strategically establish a plan for repayment of student loans

Financial Literacy and Debt Management

The Office of Financial Aid supports students’ financial well-being through individual advising, financial wellness programming, and providing a multitude of resources. Services are available to all AWSOM students.

Financial literacy and debt management are vital for handling student finances during medical school and afterward, building the essential skills and knowledge needed to make sound financial decisions.
